⚡ Level 4 · The pro toolkit

The Python framework
ready for your strategy.

Instead of coding the plumbing yourself for 3-6 months, you start from an engine that's already built and tested through 6+ months of real research. You bring your strategy. The toolkit handles the rest: faithful backtest, Optuna optimization, Walk-Forward, CPCV. Plus a Claude Code system prompt already hardened against 30+ classic pitfalls.

What the toolkit does
⚙ Faithful backtest
Commission, slippage, intra-bar, sessions
🎯 Optuna 1000+ trials

✓ Unbiased verdict: your edge holds, or it doesn't
What's inside

A Python codebase, already wired.
Plus the system prompt that lived through every pitfall.

The toolkit contains NONE of our personal strategies. It's a generic framework: you plug in your logic, it handles the rest.

CLAUDE.md — THE SYSTEM PROMPT
The toolkit's unique IP
A CLAUDE.md file that loads automatically when you launch Claude Code. It contains 30+ documented pitfalls (lookahead bias, Optuna freezes, wrong intra-bar fills, stochastic slippage, timezone handling, etc.) — Claude avoids these mistakes before writing a single line.
BACKTEST ENGINE
A realistic engine, not a toy
Commission, stochastic slippage, probabilistic intra-bar fills (or via 1-sec data), DST-aware session filters, news blackout. Anti-lookahead by design. One signal-emission API you fill in strategies/my_strategy.py.
OPTUNA WRAPPER
TPE already properly configured
30% startup trials (random exploration) before TPE learns. load_if_exists=True so a crash never loses a study. Robust min(train, test) objective. Automatic penalty for too few trades. All user_attrs saved for post-hoc analysis.
WALK-FORWARD ANALYSIS
Check cross-regime robustness
N rolling windows, non-overlapping test sets. Fast mode (fixed params) or full mode (re-optimization per window). Aggregated report with median and worst-window — not just the lying mean.
CPCV (LOPEZ DE PRADO)
Combinatorial Purged CV
6 chunks → 15 combinatorial test splits, trade-level purging + configurable embargo. The hedge-fund-level validation that tells you whether your strategy holds across 15 different regimes — not just a single OOS period.
PRO METRICS
R², Sharpe, MaxDD, GT-Score
Linearity of equity curve (rolling 30d R² included), annualized Sharpe, trailing + static drawdown, profit factor, composite score. To go beyond just Net P&L.
TEMPLATE + EXAMPLE
5-minute starting point
A commented strategies/_template.py to copy-modify, and a working SMA crossover example (with a synthetic data generator so you can run everything immediately without buying historical data first).
DOCS + UPDATES
The toolkit evolves with us, in real time.
Every month for 12 months, you receive the improvements we've made to the toolkit during our own ongoing research — new pitfalls documented in CLAUDE.md, fixes, validation methods discovered, Python/Optuna compatibility. You benefit from our continuous R&D. After 12 months, you keep your version for life. Optional renewal afterward to keep receiving updates.
Who's it for?

For traders who want to skip
3-6 months of Python plumbing.

You have a strategy to test
You know what you want to trade, you want to know whether the edge actually exists over the long term — without coding a backtester from scratch.
🛠
You completed Level 3
You know the methodology. Now you want the engine already built so you can act immediately — not re-implement the plumbing.
Your time has value
Rewriting a faithful backtester takes 3-6 months to do properly. The toolkit is already built, debugged, and tested. You focus on your strategy.
🧠
You want Claude to help well
The CLAUDE.md system prompt keeps Claude from falling into classic pitfalls. It's the equivalent of months of accumulated experience transferred in a single file.
Note: this toolkit contains NO ready-to-trade strategies. It's a generic framework. If you're looking for "a strategy that works", this isn't the right product — do Level 1 or 2 first to build YOUR strategy, then use this toolkit to validate it rigorously.
The toolkit is under constant improvement. Results and performance depend on how the tool is used — you need to understand what you're doing and not launch searches without proper context and meaningful parameters to optimize. No results guarantee: a toolkit doesn't create an edge that isn't there, it gives you the means to measure whether yours exists, or to test a strategy you'd build with help from AI.
Investment

The engine, the prompt, monthly updates.
One time.

For the price of a few blown prop firm evaluations, you get the tooling that lets you validate your edge BEFORE risking an account. Hard to put a price on the ability to measure reality without illusion.

The price will go up after launch. Lock in the early bird price now.

Honest note — what the toolkit isn't. The toolkit isn't a strategy. It's the infrastructure to honestly test ANY strategy. If you're expecting us to provide "the magic formula that wins", this isn't it. If you're expecting the engine already built so you can validate YOUR own logic, this is exactly that. Also: 1-second historical data is NOT included (budget for Databento or equivalent).

Frequently asked questions

What we get asked the most.

Why will the price go up?
The toolkit is in its launch phase — we're offering early access at a discount to the first users. Once we've validated it helps traders make the leap, the price will be adjusted up to reflect the actual value (the code represents 6+ months of our own R&D). If you buy now, you keep your lifetime access at today's price — and you still get 12 months of updates included.
Does the toolkit include ready-to-trade strategies?
No — explicitly no. That's a design choice. The toolkit is a generic framework with NONE of our personal strategies. The only "strategy" included is a purely pedagogical SMA crossover example (not tradable for real), so you can see the API end-to-end immediately. Your strategy is your work.
Do I need to know Python?
Not really. The toolkit is designed to be driven via Claude Code. You describe your strategy in plain words, Claude fills in the strategies/my_strategy.py template. Technical basics help with debugging, but you don't need to code a backtester from scratch — that's exactly what we did for you.
What other costs are involved?
The toolkit itself is complete. But for real research, you'll need: Claude Pro (~25 USD/month, or Free with limits), historical data (Databento or equivalent: one-time purchase depending on period, ~50-150 USD for 12-24 months of MNQ), and optionally TradingView/TradersPost if you also go live. Check current pricing on the platforms' sites — these fees don't come back to us.
What's the difference with Level 3?
Level 3 teaches you the methodology — you learn what Optuna, Walk-Forward, CPCV are, and how to build these tools. Level 4 (toolkit) delivers the engine already built with all the pitfalls already avoided. Ideal if you want to act immediately without reinventing your own framework. Many people do both: Level 3 to understand, Level 4 to execute quickly.
Is there support?
Email support at hello@tradelo.app for bugs and technical questions (response within 48h). The toolkit isn't a "we write your strategy for you" service — it's a tool. For strategy logic questions, that's your work (or Claude Code's, which the toolkit enables).
What's included in the 12 months of updates?
Newly documented pitfalls in CLAUDE.md (as we discover them in our own research), bug fixes, new utility modules, Python/Pandas/Optuna compatibility. Each release is documented in CHANGELOG.md with migration notes. After 12 months, you keep the version you have for life.
What if I resell my copy?
One license = one trader. No reselling, no sharing. If you share the code, we cut access to updates (and it's in violation of the ToS). We count on the honesty of buyers — the community of serious traders is small, the ecosystem lives on that trust.
